FPUC provided a flat $600 weekly supplement to people receiving unemployment insurance, including those on partial benefits. PUA extended benefits to self‑employed workers, freelancers, and independent contractors, while PEUC added up to 13 extra weeks after regular unemployment benefits were exhausted.
The FPUC program applies to people who are available for the new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program, and the Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) program.
